I then backed up the data I was going to install in the new program on a thumb drive. I then deleted all old backups from my computer, along with making sure nothing connected with intuit or quicken remained. I then ran c cleaner, and the disk cleanup utility of windows 7, and rebooted the system.

I then installed quicken , made sure the updates were installed, and opened the program, like it was something I never used before, making sure the updates were there again. I then opened the file tab and uploaded my data off the thumb drive. As of now the program seems to be working properly. By the way, this took about 3 hours to do.
